1. Plumbing connections and piping

• Corrosion Protection: Petrolatum tapes are used to protect      plumbing connections, pipes, fittings, and valves from corrosion caused by      moisture, chemicals, and environmental exposure. This includes      applications like protecting cooling tower piping.

• Leak Prevention: The tapes act as a sealant, helping to      prevent leaks at threaded connections and joints. Jet-Lube's Petro-Tape is      ULC listed for sealing metal threaded pipe connections for gases and      liquids at certain pressures.

• Emergency Repairs: Petrolatum tapes can be used for      short-term fixes or emergency repairs to prevent leaks or extensive      corrosive damage in plumbing emergencies.
